Communication strategy and design for the 1st virtual edition of the XIII International Congress of the Central American and Caribbean Association of Infectious Diseases, ACENCAI. Due to the pandemic, the challenge was the migration of the event from physical format to digital platform.
The Ui of the platform considered different spaces, starting in the lobby directed professionals to spaces such as the exhibition area, networking with online chat, private meetings with video calls and the main space, the conference rooms with 5 simultaneous rooms, event program and video library.
Thanks to the migration to the virtual event, the congress had a great impact on the healthcare sector, attracting more than 5,100 participants from 26 countries, resulting in a 300% increase in the number of participants.
